301 redirects are powerful
Instead of saying Google with a 404 or other command that this page is not here, you should permanently redirect a page to page very similar to group shares links that might have on this page.
My
general rule is to ensure that the information (and keywords) is included in
the new page - remain safe.
Most
already know the performance of a 301 and how they are used to also feed
completely independently pages on Google for a while - sometimes very long.
Google
seems to believe that the server is very good, so I let them.
You
can change the focus of a redirect, but it's a little bleak for me to hit and can be abused - I'm not talking about
this kind of thing on this blog. But it is interesting to know you need to keep
these redirects in the http access file.
Redirecting
multiple former pages to a new page - works for me if the information on the
page that has sorted the previous page.
NOTE - This tactic is very
2017.
Spamming of detours Caution. I believe I saw transferred the sanctions by 301.
Neither REDIRECT 301 blindly to your home page. I would also be wise to
redirect too many bad quality links to a URL. If you need a page to redirect
the old URLs, consider your sitemap or contact page. Check all the title pages
of the back links to redirect them to an important page.
I
see at work like Ornate 30 1st in 2017 -
although they seem to take a little longer to have an influence.
Tip:
A good tactic, at the moment, has consolidated old and thin boundary elements, Google,
ignored into larger and better items.
